Help preserve ancient forests in the US

The Ancient Forest Society (formerly Marmot Society) is dedicated to studying ancient North American forests and providing expertise in preservation. Trying to understand how environmental change impacts these giants and help land owners manage this threat by doing whatever they can to preserve large forest areas. I found them during research about wildfires in California as I was interested in finding out more about how the sequoia trees would be impacted by this catastrophe.
